Hello harpmeisters! Good new's! Lady luck has smiled down on us in the form of affordable NOS element's!!! Recently, I was contacted by an associate who has located a small lot of new old stock Shure controlled magnetic transducers. These element's are the 99A86 high impedance only type. All are made in the USA and have date codes indicating the first few months of 1981. I will be making the elements available to anyone who wants one. They will be available for $65 plus shipping to your location. The elements DO NOT come with a gasket! If you need a gasket, you can get one at www.harpmicgaskets.com.These elements are brand new, never used in any way, in the boxes that they came in from the factory. These are small plain white boxes slightly larger than the element itself that they were shipped in from the factory and not the larger "replacement element" boxes that you may be thinking. I believe they may have be old military surplus or something of that nature. They are shiney new and ready to ship. Why pay $75 to $100 for a used element on ebay not knowing how the element will perform or what condition it's in. These elements are guaranteed to be 100% US made new old stock and guaranteed to perform as a new element should or we will replace it! No worries about condition or if it will work!
If you would like to purchase one, please contact me through this website and let me know. Please include your name and your address. I will then email you back with shipping charges and instructions on how and where to send payment. International buyers MUST make payment by Paypal in US funds, no exceptions!
There is a limited supply of these and I expect that they will be sold fast, so if you would like one don't delay. When these are gone they're gone! This is a "one time" offer. First come, first served! We cannot hold any elements for anyone. There are about 30 of these available and when they're gone, so is this offer. Get em while you can!!!!!!!! You can contact me by clicking on any of the "email me" links on this site or directly at GRBULLETS2@AOL.COM . NOTE: If you are not up on your soldering skill's, I will be happy to solder wires onto the element for you at no extra cost. Please keep in mind that these elements can be damaged if you over heat the lead wires. Because the bobbin which supports the winding also supports the element's lead wires is made of plastic, it can easily melt if you over heat them with a soldering iron. The lead wires can become loose or even unattached from the bobbin in severe cases. We cannot accept any elements back that are damaged in this way!!! So, if you plan to solder wires to the element yourself, use a good flux and a high temperature (if adjustable) to solder your wires. Do not keep the iron on the leads of the element for more than 2 seconds! The solder joint must be made quickly! I will solder 5 inch wires to the element which should be more than long enough for a Shure bullet or JT30 shell. If you need longer wires for whatever reason, please let me know and I'll give you longer wires. If you'd like me to solder the wires on for you, please let me know when you order the element.........Thanks!............ Dave
